Resurfacing
Kearsarge, the rare concrete street in our area (most are asphalt) received a refreshing this week after many years of requests from BHA to LA Street Services, fixing cracks and uneven surfaces. The BHA tries to have streets maintained, and we hope to see those nasty tree root bumps on Kenter fixed in the near future.

98 Years Young
A very Happy Birthday to Vera J. Hirtz, who has lived in Brentwood since 1955 and been one of our longest and most supportive members. A native of Germany and a holocaust survivor, Vera spent a few years in New York before landing in Brentwood, close by to an aunt and uncle on Cliffwood. Despite the many changes she has seen in 66 years, she still loves her neighborhood and appreciates all it has to offer. We love you too Vera!!
