The Los Angeles Marathon is this Sunday and turns around at Bundy and San Vicente. The easiest way around Los Angeles on Marathon day is to use the freeways, but check the map for specifics. Going west to Santa Monica shouldn't be a problem since the Marathon no longer goes to the Pier.
