Increase in Residential Burglaries
You may think you have fortified your property from burglars, but don't forget about your backyard. A rash of burglaries in Crestwood Hills in April and May have revealed the bandits are hiking up the hill from Bundy Drive. Residents located video footage and figured out the timeline and access. A similar string of burglaries last year on Tigertail Road showed the same pattern with thieves accessing backyards from Bowling Green Way. In a recent burglary, Senior Lead Officer Matt Kirk stated one of the suspects used a ladder that was in the backyard of the victim’s house to gain entry.
