On August 4, 1962, Marilyn Monroe died at her Brentwood home on 5th Helena under what some say are mysterious circumstances. Sadly, its pending demolition is no mystery as the owner is taking advantage of the prime real estate to raise one of the most famous houses on the planet. |

See that large circle at the bottom right of the photograph? That's Sunset Blvd where it meets Bristol and it used to be a traffic circle! The traffic circle was broomed in exchange for straightening Sunset, which then created the half circles you see today. |
