Brentwood Ranks High in Parking Tickets
With over 35,000 meters across Los Angeles, the meters at Barrington Court received the most expired meter tickets over a six month period this year, according to an analysis by the LA Times. The City has budgeted $115 million in revenue from parking tickets. If you don't want to receive one of the two million parking tickets issued last year, avoid the prime ticketing hours between 8:00am to 2:00pm.

BHA Supports Brief Filed With Supreme Court
This week the Brentwood Community Council filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court asking the Court to review the decision of the 9th Circuit in regard to the City of Grants Pass lawsuit pertaining to homelessness and public camping ordinances. BHA sent a letter of support for inclusion after reviewing the brief, which argues the Grants Pass ruling exacerbates the confusion created by the Boise case and inhibits the ability of local governments to effectively and compassionately manage the homeless crisis while safeguarding the well-being of all their residents, whether homeless or housed.
