Crime Prevention and Home Security Fair a Success!
A big thank you to all those who participated in our first Crime Prevention/Home Security Fair this past Tuesday. Approximately 100 residents had the opportunity to speak directly with representatives from home security companies about security cameras, safes, armed response, and smart home alarms. In addition, we were honored to have representatives from Mayor Bass's office attend. You Asked and They Answered
An even bigger thank you to Councilwoman Traci Park, Commander Jon Tom, Captain Rich Gabaldon and Senior Lead Officer Matt Kirk for taking the time to answer our many questions about what is being done to address the increase in property crime in Brentwood. We were excited to hear about new technological approaches to protecting our neighborhoods (Real Time Crime Centers, drones, Automatic License Plate Readers) that we hope can be employed in Brentwood in the future.

Brush Clearance
All property owners who reside in hillside communities must comply with the Brush Clearance Ordinance by May 1st. Everyone should have received a mailer with your APN and PIN numbers that allow you to register an account and view the inspection status of your property. If you happened to hear bleating in the hills above Bundy, you weren't imagining it! Our Crestwood Hills neighbors brought out the goats to clear the brush on their hillsides. |
