Brentwood Roll Call A Success. Copy That!
Thank you to our members and Councilwoman Traci Park who joined us last week for the 6:30am roll call of the West LA Community Station in Brentwood. We were happy to show our appreciation of these officers' efforts on our behalf with coffee and pastries and to personally thank them. A special shout out to Senior Lead Officer Matt Kirk for his help with not only the event but with all of our daily questions and issues.

Five Years Since the Getty Fire |
It has been five years since a tree branch broke and landed in nearby power lines along the 405, igniting a brush fire in Brentwood that burned 745 acres, destroyed 10 homes, damaged 15 others, and forced the evacuation of hundreds of residents. We are forever grateful for the efforts of our LAFD and their ability to contain the fire. We have learned a lot since 2019, especially about how to harden our homes and create a defensive line against fires and the embers they cast that can destroy or damage homes.
