The Days Ahead
Brentwood is no stranger to wildfire and the emotional and physical price it extracts from our community. Our friends in the Palisades have suffered a devastating loss. This neighboring community means so much to us in Brentwood as well. With over 15,000 acres burned and 0% containment, we are still at risk. Please remain vigilant and obey all evacuation orders. All the City and County resources are stretched thin. Be patient and stay informed in the days ahead so you can take the steps necessary to protect yourself and your loved ones. In time, there will be an opportunity to debrief, help our friends who lost everything, and show our heartfelt gratitude to the first responders who work tirelessly for all of us.
