We Need Your Help!

We still have time to stop the adoption of the proposed Zone 0 regulations that would decimate the natural environment in our community.  But we need your help! Please use the button above to send an email before next week's meeting.

Do You Want To Lose 50% of Our Tree Canopy?

Our concern about these regulations pushed by the Insurance Industry is shared by the City, the County, local scientists and ecologists. You can see the potential impact on trees near your home in Zone 0 with this map provided by LA County.  Whether you live in Zone 0 or not, you will be affected by the massive loss of tress and vegetation in Brentwood and throughout Los Angeles.  Please lend your voice and support our efforts for region-specific guidelines for Southern California’s urban areas based on

  • Independent scientific input
  • Field-based, not lab-only, data
  • Local flexibility and site-specific discretion
  • Tiered compliance considering home age, fire-hardening, and financial constraints
