Looking Ahead Together

As we wrap up 2025, one thing is clear: Brentwood is home—and that’s what matters most.  Decisions about wildfire safety, housing, transportation, and land use are often made far from our neighborhoods, but we feel them right here.  BHA shows up to make sure local voices, common sense, and lived experience don’t get overlooked. As the year winds down, we hope you get some well-earned downtime and plenty of moments that make home feel like home. And in 2026, we’ll keep at it—together—looking out for Brentwood.

LAPD Toy Drive

Officer Matt Kirk won’t be the only one smiling thanks to the toys BHA donated to the LAPD toy drive. Tomorrow, the West LA Police Station will be filled with happy children choosing special toys—made possible by the kindness and generosity of our BHA members.

Meals on Wheels Needs Holiday Volunteers

Meals on Wheels West LA works out of the Village Church at 343 S. Church Lane in Brentwood. They are currently short on volunteers to deliver meals during the holidays when many regular volunteers are away.  If you can spare a few hours any delivery day from 10 am to 1 pm please consider helping this extremely important cause. They deliver Monday through Friday including Christmas Day but not on January 1 or 2. Even one day is a help.  You can call the Meals on Wheels West LA office at 310-208-4028 or send a note with your name and phone number to mealsonwheelswla@gmail.com.
