BHA has been informed by our LAPD contact that police helicopters have been requested to conduct extra patrols in our area. The air units, while not handling a specific call, will be on the lookout for suspicious or criminal activity. If the officers in the sky notice something, they will drop down to a lower altitude and take a closer look, and direct ground units if necessary. 

Please be vigilant and most of all be neighborly with your block. You are the first line of communication and defense for your neighborhood.
