Night Work on the 405
Metro’s contractor will be performing MINOR construction activities as part of the completion of the Interstate 405 project. Work began on June 26 and is anticipated to conclude in August. Construction activities will take place at the on and offramps and in areas immediately adjacent to the freeway and mostly include sign modification. Most of the work is scheduled at night and on weekends to minimize impacts to traffic flow and the surrounding communities. (Please direct questions to email below)

July 26, 2018 through August 1, 2018
Monday – Friday, 9:00pm-6:00am
Saturday – Sunday, 9:00pm-11:00am
Where:
I-405 On and offramps between Sunset and Santa Monica Boulevard
What to Expect:
July 26-July 27: Full closure of the southbound Sunset offramp from 10:00pm-6:00am
July 26-July 27: Full closure of the southbound Santa Monica offramp from 9:00pm-5:00am
July 27-July 28: Full closure of the southbound Sunset offramp from 11:00pm-7:00am
July 28: Closure of southbound Sunset offramp left turn lanes from 7:00am-11:00am
July 28-29: Full closure of the southbound Santa Monica offramp from 11:00pm-10:00am
July 29-30: Full closure of the southbound Santa Monica offramp from 9:00pm-5:00am
July 30-31: Full closure of the southbound Santa Monica offramp from 9:00pm-5:00am
July 31-August 1: Full closure of the southbound Santa Monica offramp from 9:00pm-5:00am

Choppers In The Air UPDATE
Your BHA has requested a meeting with detectives and their supervisors from LAPD regarding the rash of burglaries recently. Historically, crime rates in our area ebb and flow and we like the dramatic response from police. However, we need to understand more specifics about the current threats to our community and will relay them to you as we learn more.
