Dealer Ad Plates Now Illegal

As of January 1, the State has made it easier for you and law enforcement to identify suspicious vehicles. Cars and trucks must now have either permanent or temporary numbered plates on both the front and back of the vehicle. The dealer ad paper plates on new cars we have seen for decades are a thing of the past. This can be a significant deterrent to crime in our area, so please do your part and make sure all your vehicles have the plates installed. For more details about the look of legal plates, please follow this link.

Brush Clearance by April 30

Hillside and hillside adjacent homes are inspected annually by the Fire Department to make sure they are not a fire hazard with respect to dry brush. In order to avoid any assessments, the law requires you clear brush by April 30. Inspections will begin May 1, 2019.
