Firefighting Town Hall

Tomorrow, Saturday Nov 9 from 10a-1p, join Councilmember Mike Bonin, Fire Chief Ralph Terrazas and the Los Angeles Fire Department for a town hall to discuss this wildfire season, recent fires, and to introduce neighbors to some of the Department's firefighting resources and gear. RSVP Here

BHA Members Respond to Fire

During the four-day Getty fire evacuation, BHA sent out 16 emails and 11 texts, and responded to 100 emails, updating members on evacuation and repopulation timelines, mail and trash service, and physical access to homes. Some 230 members then responded to the BHA survey, with 95% of our members satisfied or very satisfied with the timeliness and content of our communications. Scooters and Bikes
The BHA recognizes the need, convenience and environmental benefits of alternate forms of transportation. We are working with Mike Bonin's office to encourage proper safety and parking enforcement so only the most efficient and responsive providers will be awarded licenses to operate in the City.

DWP on Barrington Place

Beginning Saturday, November 9, and continuing for the next five consecutive Saturdays, from 8:00am and 6:30pm, DWP will be installing a new public fire hydrant on Barrington Place in front of Brentwood Middle School. During this period, Department of Water and Power work crews will maintain two-way traffic patterns along Barrington Pl.

Barry Building Demo
As previously reported, the family trust that owns the Barry Building (and surrounding properties) is seeking a demolition permit. For those who want more detailed information, please follow this link.
