Potholes

Please drive carefully and stay out of the lane closest to the curb when possible. It is especially precarious and costly for cars with low profile tires. The rain has created some nasty potholes which we have reported on the very helpful MyLA311 app. Please make it a team effort by downloading the app to your phone and reporting potholes when you see them (but not while you're driving please).

Crime Down Except For Cars

While burglaries have dropped 63%, crime has spiked for grand theft auto and vehicle break-ins during the first two months of 2020. Senior Lead Officer Matt Kirk reported an 83% spike in auto theft and a 50% rise in car break-ins through March 7. He reminded everyone not to leave key fobs in the car, and don't leave anything visible in the passenger compartment.
