Use It or Lose it
Businesses, institutions and individuals around the country are suffering due to the loss of an income stream. Jenny Becs, a popular local toy and craft store on San Vicente, is out of business. Pumpkinheads has announced they will go after fifteen years in Brentwood. We urge you where possible to support local businesses and restaurants to help them weather this storm. Many are closed but call around to your favorites and see if they are offering curbside, mail order or delivery.

We Asked, You Answered
Last week, we asked members who were available to run an errand or help with a delivery to let us know and dozens responded. We connected them with other members who needed a small favor and it was a wonderful synergy. Let's keep it going and expand our valuable member network of neighbors helping neighbors!
The BHA will help match helpful neighbors with those in need of a little help with an errand. Please click the links below to fill out our convenient online form:
- Volunteer to assist with a one-time or occasional no-contact assistance (grocery runs, a healthy meal, pharmacy pickups, calls, etc.)
- Need help getting groceries, picking up prescriptions, want a meal delivered, or simply want someone to check in on you?
