What A Difference A Year Makes

No beaches, no fireworks, no parties

Maybe just a respite from obligations.

I was so bored that I memorized six pages of a dictionary.
I learned Next to Nothing.

Scientists on the SpaceStation got bored

of watching the Earth turn so after 24 hours
They called it a day

When I'm bored I like to sprinkle dried herbs into my palms
Now I have way too much thyme on my hands.

I’ve been bored recently so I have decided to take up fencing.
My neighbor said he will call the police unless I put it back.

Last year: Stay safe!

This year: Stay (at a) safe (distance)!

Trash Collection

Since the July 4th holiday falls on a Saturday this year, there will be no change to the collection schedule.
