![]() Brentwood Wants Police The BCC has analyzed pertinent data from Mike Bonin's online survey for Council District 11 residents and the overwhelming majority would like police officers responding to criminal and law enforcement related issues. The Raw Data shows responses for each question by area and confirms people support alternate forms of attention in appropriate situations, like medical and mental health issues. BHA members perpetually support our efforts to have a visible police presence in Brentwood, shown to deter crime, and we continue to see a reduction in crime when both marked and unmarked police units patrol our streets.

Vicente Foods Fighting Covid Vicente Foods is working hard to keep their market safe and open despite as many as twenty employees testing positive for Covid-19, most asymptomatic. According to the manager, any employee testing positive must be quarantined until they test negative two days in a row and all full and part time employees are being tested regularly. ![]() LA Marathon To Loop In Brentwood The owners of the LA Marathon revealed plans for the 2021 course that will now exclude Santa Monica, due to space restrictions. The course that begins at Dodger Stadium will now finish at Avenue of the Stars in Century City. It will follow its traditional route until Brentwood, where runners will double back on San Vicente, Sepulveda and Santa Monica boulevards before finishing at Avenue of the Stars.
“This exciting change allows for a more vibrant and interactive finish experience than previously possible. It will provide the opportunity for much greater spectator participation for family and friends with enhanced post-race activities including the Finish Festival with concerts and sponsor activations and puts runners close to hotels, transportation, and nightlife in West Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the best of LA,” say the race organizers.
