Fact From Fiction About Vicente Foods
After more than a dozen emails, we reached out to Vicente Foods and confirmed they had seven employees test positive for Covid-19. The employees are all quarantined at home and the store is taking many proactive and aggressive steps to disinfect the store environment.
From the Manager Bob:
"The entire facility has been sanitized by six members from Orkin's Covid Response Team. Since we learned of the positive 2 cases late Thursday 7/23, we began testing staff and cleaning those areas within the store that may have been exposed. Our plan is to open up tomorrow morning with a clean facility. Contact tracing has been done; the positive cases have been the back of the store—our checkers and managers are negative. Moving forward, our staff will be tested regularly and they will eat lunch out of the building which is the only time they are unmasked."
Vicente Foods has been part of our community for decades and we wish them well as they fight to weather this storm.
