![]() Bad Bills Now 7 Instead of 9 While Californians are dealing with the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic, legislators are back at work passing Assembly Bills 725 and AB 3040, which upzone single family parcels to multi-family housing. These bills have no requirements for meaningful low-income or affordable housing so desperately needed. The good news is AB 1279 and AB 3107, equally bad public housing policy, were withdrawn from consideration. On Tuesday, Aug 11, two more housing bills will be heard at the Assembly Local Government Committee at 930am. Livable California provides background on the bills and how you can still get involved.*
