SB 1120 Misses Deadline
The state legislature bill that would have paved the way for a four-plex next door to your single-family home is dead for now. Despite significant lawmaker support, the bill did not have enough votes to pass the state Senate in time and is shelved for now. Like many close elections, the opposition to state authority over local zoning was just enough to keep it off the books. Your emails, calls and letters helped.
