Thank you to everyone who attended our Town Hall on Fire Safety and Preparedness this past Wednesday. 250 members and residents of Brentwood registered for this event.  We will make available next week on our website a recording of the meeting as well as the detailed information presented about how to Plan, Prepare and Act in case of a wildfire.  Thank you to Chief Armando Hogan, LAFD, and Dr. Neal Driscoll, co-founder of AlertWildfire, who answered the many questions we had and offered new information on what is being done to protect our homes and our families, including our pets!

Fire Danger?
Many of the Red Flag Day No Parking Signs are either damaged or missing in the hills above Sunset. Our board has gone through our area and created a list of signs that are not visible or need replacing. If you know of a sign near your property that is missing or is not visible and is NOT on the list, please add it to this list.

In addition, we are making note of fire hydrants that do not have a red curb painted in front of them. We will be working with Councilman Bonin's office in an effort to rectify both of these problems.

Did you know that we have had no Red Flag Days in 2020? Red flag days are instituted when required levels of humidity and sustained winds are met.  Sign up for alerts here.
