San Vicente Encampments
There is no new information on the car accident that resulted in a vehicle jumping the sidewalk and through the VA fence. The Brentwood Community Council has renewed their demand for cleanups and for the sidewalk to at least be ADA compliant (three feet for wheelchairs and pedestrians) but so far, Supervisor Sheila Kuehl's office has ignored taking any significant productive action including providing the people housing and mental health services. The BHA has weighed in, but your voice is important, so please consider writing to Zachary Gaidzik and Fernando Morales to let them know what you have personally experienced or witnessed at the encampment and your concerns (please keep communications productive and civil).
