Survey Says!
Last week we sent all of our members a survey, asking them to rank five issues according to their importance. For the first time in years, traffic did NOT make the top three! Sidewalk Encampments is the number one issue for our members, followed by Crime Prevention and Response, and then Fire Safety.
Asked how satisfied you were with the government’s response to homelessness, 96% were not satisfied. Full results from the survey will be posted next week on our website, but the majority agree that of the issues we are facing, solutions need to be implemented now.
- Public and private partnership to identify and implement real solutions to move the homeless to a safe place to get the help they need instead of current government ineffectiveness.
- Shortening LAPD response time and increasing patrols in Brentwood with more officers in the community
- Updating the Brentwood-Pacific Palisades Community Plan to address the real fire threat from increased density in very high fire hazard zones and incorporating policies that address that threat.
Now is your opportunity to hear directly from top officials in City government and get answers to your questions about what is being done to address these issues.
