Drive Up Mailbox
Criminals looking for checks and personal information took another shot at the drive up mailbox at the Barrington Post Office, demaging it with a glue like substance. We reached out to Congressman Lieu's office and they contacted USPS who will be replacing the box ASAP, hopefully by this weekend.

No Right On Red
The intersection of Barrington and Sunset just got a little safer, thanks to BHA directors and LADOT. Cars heading northbound on Barrington will now see a new signal that will help to prevent accidents. In the past, cars would turn right on red onto Sunset when the southbound traffic on Barrington had the green light (and the right of way). Now, the northbound Barrington signal will show No Turn on Red ONLY when the southbound traffic on Barrington has a green light at Sunset. Many of us have been involved in near misses with cars turning into oncoming traffic, so this signal should help.
