Thank you for your comments and suggestions concerning Mount St Mary's University and their facilities expansion plan. We have bundled the input into our response to the Environmental Impact Report. Our letter can be viewed here.

The Brentwood Community Council has been monitoring the encampment along San Vicente and has been in contact with the County about humanely moving people off the street and into supportive housing. Village For Vets and Step Up On Second, in coordination with Congressman Lieu's office, have helped house eleven people so far.
BCC has consistently requested sanitation clean ups to remove garbage on the sidewalk, items that block the roadway and tents be taken down once someone has departed the county-owned San Vicente sidewalk. The BHA opposes local homeless activists who indicated they would prefer to replace departing individuals with new arrivals and keep the tents.
