Survey says....!
On June 17, 2021, the Los Angeles City Planning Department issued the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the construction of a Wellness Pavilion on the Chalon campus of Mount Saint Mary‘s University (MSMU). BHA submitted comments on the FEIR (which you can read here) and attended and spoke at the three-hour public hearing on July 14. Prior to the hearing, BHA asked for feedback about the project through a survey.
The results from our survey show our members have concerns about the project’s impact on the neighborhood and the effectiveness of the mitigation measures proposed in Alternative 5. Read a summary of the results here.
The next step in the entitlement process is a hearing October 14, 2021 in front of the City Planning Commission (CPC). We will keep you updated as the process continues.

BHA Board Members meet once a month to discuss current issues and paths of action. Between meetings, each board member spends a few hours a week reading reports and researching issues related to our community.
If you have lived in Brentwood for more than three years and would like to have a voice in the future of Brentwood, please write us and we can fill you in on more details about joining the BHA Board of Directors.

BHA Monthly Meeting
Tuesday, August 17, 2021 * 7:00 p.m.
Location Via Zoom: Considering the current situation with the coronavirus, BHA is taking measures to mitigate the spread of it. Consequently, all BHA meetings will be held via Zoom until further notice.
If you wish to attend the Zoom meeting, you must register prior to Monday before the meeting. Only members of BHA are permitted. If you wish to call into the meeting, be prepared to state your name and address. Members will be muted to ensure the board can proceed with the association’s business. Questions will be taken at the end of the meeting as noted on the agenda below.
